Wat Phra Kaew has a number of buildings in the precincts of the Grand Palace, which covers a total area of over 94.5 hectares (234 acres).

2. Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha)
Wat Pho, also known as The Temple of the Reclining Buddha, is one of the most attractive temples in the city. It is the oldest and largest temple complex in Bangkok. It counts more than 1,000 Buddha images. The Wat Pho temple complex contains a large number of structures, including and ordination hall, a number of viharns, a scripture hall and almost 100 chedis.

3. Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn)
Wat Arun or the Temple of Dawn, is one of the most striking riverside landmarks of Thailand. The temple derives its name from the Hindu god Aruna, often personified as the radiations of the rising sun. The temple received its most prominent characteristic: the 82m-high prahng (Khmer-style tower).
